Passionate About Inspiring Others and Changing Lives

As someone who went through a difficult childhood and later a lengthy divorce, I had to build myself up from nothing.  Yet, in spite of everything, I somehow found the strength within myself to turn my life around and claim my personal power with the support of a few very special people.

Later, having gained great strength and personal happiness, I realised I wanted to help others to do the same.  I, therefore, helped victims of crime in my local area for five year.  I also supported people with learning disabilities to feel better about themselves and their abilities.

When I think of my past, a happy part of my childhood was spent singing with my grandmother at her home.  Music is therefore important to me, and as part of my self-healing and self-development process I became a singer/songwriter where I used this medium to explore my past joys and pains and to help inspire others.  As a result, I was chosen as one of the 100 inspirational women in Norfolk and Suffolk in the book entitled 100 women in 100 words to celebrate International Women's Day.

Lastly, in addition to the above (and I truly mean in addition as it can never replace my happy and painful personal life experiences), I have a first class Bachelor's of Arts Degree and a Masters of Science Degree from the University of London.  I have certification in Life Coaching, an Advanced Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Mindfulness.  I am also a member of the Association of Accounting Technicians.
